Midfielder Toni Kroos plays for Real Madrid but he could come up against Bayern Munich. The German came through the ranks at Bayern before making a big impression at the Allianz Arena. “I had some amazing years here. Whilst on loan at Bayer Leverkusen I had the chance to play on the opposing side here, but this is the first time with Real Madrid, which is something special,” said the midfielder, who is believed to have cost around £ 20 million last summer since he had only 12 months left on his contract. Madrid were able to take advantage of the contractual situation and a player, who would be worth around £ 40 million in today’s inflated market.
